Founder, Diverse Barbershop
Keven has been cutting hair for over 25 years, first as a hobby for friends and family. An entrepreneur at heart, his first business venture was cutting hair on his lunch at his high school at the age of 16. He decided to pursue the trade and have a firm grasp of business, so he enrolled in business at George Brown College and graduated in 1998. Afterwards, he spent 18 months at Avola College of Hairstyling in Toronto. In his post- secondary education he apprenticed and then eventually managed one of the most respected barbershops in downtown Toronto which has seen the likes of the Toronto Raptors, Toronto Blue Jays, famous musicians and actors. He earned government license in 2000. Afterwards, he moved to the Kitchener –Waterloo in 2001 and opened the doors of Diverse Barbershop in 2002. Presently, on Youtube ,educator of Diverse Teach, a program designed for professionals in the industry who want to improve in the area of CLIPPERS AND TRIMMERS.

1. QUESTION : DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS ? How MUCH TIME should I give myself to get a haircut?
ANSWER : Yes, we take WALK - INS DAILY, EVEN IF WE ARE FULLY BOOKED WITH APPOINTMENTS. Generally, set aside 1 HOUR for this process, this includes wait and haircut.
2. QUESTION : Can I book MORE THAN 1 PERSON PER TIME SLOT
ANSWER : YES, ONLY ON TIMES THE END ON THE QUARTER HOUR (ie. :15) for example 9:15AM, 11:15AM, 4:15PM. NOT ON TOP OF THE HOUR, for example 9:00 AM,11:00 AM, 4:00PM.
3. QUESTION : When will I be CHARGED from my credit for a service reservation?
ANSWER : A no - show fee will be charged from your credit card on file until there is a no show for any reason. IT IS NOT A DEPOSIT FOR YOUR SERVICE.
4. QUESTION : Which days are usually the SLOWEST days to
get my haircut?
ANSWER : USUALLY, Tuesday and Wednesday are the slower days.
5. QUESTION : Where is PARKING?
ANSWER : 5 SPOTS ARE ASSIGNED WITHIN PARKING LINES ALSO 2 HOURS FREE ON JACKSON AVENUE.
